I’m Back…..

Happy New Year!!!!! It seems like forever since my last post. I’ve missed interacting with you guys so much. If any of you are wondering where I’ve been or what I’ve been doing then wonder no longer! For the past year, I have been reflecting and critically thinking about the direction in which I want to go with my blog and social media accounts. I had to take a break and ask myself, “Did I bite off more than I can chew, is it worth it, do I really want to open myself up to the scrutiny that comes with blogging and social media; what is my true goal and purpose in doing this?” These are questions I should have asked myself prior to starting a blog but better late than never, right??? I definitely put the cart before the horse on this one.

Honestly, I have a habit of taking on too many things at once. I can’t help it! I’m a worker bee. I love doing new and exciting things but I grow bored easily. I have a tendency to spontaneously start things on a high note but end them kinda low. To make matters worse, I have less than perfect time management skills; to say the least. OUCH!!!!

I did not realize how difficult it would be to fulfill my responsibilities as wife and mother, manage two small businesses, a blog and my social media pages. At one point, I actually considered quitting.

Here’s what I have come to realize. I absolutely love reaching out and helping others. I am a very transparent person; which, I think many appreciate. I love connecting with other moms and sharing ideas. I am not shy and I love reading and writing (whenever I have the time). Most importantly, I love God and people. I truly believe God wants to do more with this blog. I believe He wants me to reach as many women as possible, with the simple message of the gospel, being walked out daily in a practical way. It is for this reason, my resolve to resume posting regularly is strengthened. I am trusting God to help me manage my time wisely while sharing the love of Christ with each of you. I want to thank those of you who have been checking my blog to view new posts. I truly appreciate your love and support. I have lots of exciting new things I desire to share with you.  I also plan to start back making YouTube videos. BTW: I’ve been uploading videos to facebook regularly.
